ABB is seeking a Digital Manager GPG DRY and Traction in Raleigh, North Carolina. As the Digitalization Manager you will lead the digital transformation of the product group providing digital expertise and guidance to product management, marketing, service and sales. Tasks: Typical duties/responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following: u2022 Contribute to the BU digital business plan ensuring the PGu2019s are fully represented in all aspects. u2022 Working closely with the PG global product managers to develop a market driven digital roadmap within the PG that aims to: - Achieve baseline digital capabilities at the product level. - Accelerate the adoption of ABB Ability through new solutions and services. - Harmonized innovation with other product groups in the BU and Division. - Delivering new digital innovations in the context of a test and learn piloting environment. u2022 Define the digital market landscape for the PG Competition, trends, new technologies, partnership opportunities. u2022 Establishing a digital culture within the product group by being the digital voice and thought leader. - Deliver training/education programs. - Be a digital thought leader within the PG and externally to related markets. - Participate at industry events. u2022 Work closely with the digital marketing team to support sales in bids and pursuits that include digital. u2022 Support communications in digital communication and content generation relevant to the PG. Requirements: Basic qualification: u2022 Bachelor Degree and 10 years of Experience in Product Management. OR; u2022 Master Degree and 8 years of Experience in Product Management. Preferred Qualifications: u2022 Knowledge of power products or transformer market is a distinct advantage. u2022 Demonstrable experience and knowledge of IoT as applied to an industrial setting (IIoT/Industry 4.0). u2022 5 years working in a global role with multicultural exposure and working in matrix organizations. u2022 Ability to work independently and manage multiple stakeholders. u2022 Ability to work with remote teams and across time zones. u2022 Fluent in English, other languages are an added advantage. u2022 Flexibility to travel up to 50%.
