Internship Project Description This is what you will do\u2026.\u00a0 Help come up with exciting new features for Ancestry\u2019s DNA Story experience, with a particular focus on connecting what your DNA can tell you to what you can learn from family trees. Learn about industry trends and the latest designs to make sure Ancestry\u2019s product continues to be the premier consumer DNA test and family history tool. Help drive the product roadmap and work directly with your engineering & UX counterparts to see the new feature(s) come to life. Tasks & deliverables: Brainstorm on core feature ideas for the Ancestry DNA Story product. Identify new features for customer engagement, test with users for feedback and recommend next steps. Create a plan and propose documentation to identify how the new feature solves customer problems, the business metrics we\u2019re looking to move, and how we plan on accomplishing those goals. Work with PM and scrum team to create and refine user stories, compose acceptance criteria, and provide final sign-off for software release. Qualifications Currently pursuing a bachelor\u2019s, master\u2019s or Ph.D. level degree Must be currently enrolled in a university and graduating after Summer 2018 Well-organized, works great with other people & teams, and has a strong interest in learning product management.
