The Oracle Cloud
Security and Identity Principal Product Manager position is an individual
contributor role. This very senior level
role is responsible for driving customer adoption, utilization, and field
enablement for the Oracle Cloud Security and Identity portfolio of services by providing
adoption and utilization training, recommendations, templates, frameworks, best
practices, and runbooks for customers, partners, and internal field
stakeholders. This role is responsible
for ensuring the positive growth of the health of the renewals business for the
Oracle Cloud Security and Identity portfolio of services.
You will also be
responsible for account and risk management of top tiered customer accounts and
working with internal field stakeholders to get customers onboarded and fully
operational onto the security services that the customer has subscribed to, build
and maintain a trusted advisory relationship with key customer and partner executives,
to obtain referenceability and success stories, to retain and renew the
customer, and to identify expansion opportunities. You will perform routine health checks and assist
with business value assessments to ensure our customers the most return on
investment from Oracle. The success of this role means higher customer
happiness, retention, referenceability, and expansion of the Oracle Cloud
Security and Identity business.
Responsibilities:
Assume overall customer adoption andutilization responsibility and critical issue management role for top tieraccounts.This includessuccessfully onboarding and operationalizing customers onto the OracleCloud Security and Identity portfolio of services as effectively andefficiently as possible, obtain referenceability and retention, ensuresatisfaction and engagement, and identify expansion opportunities
You will be responsible for developinga trusted advisor relationship with our top tier customer and partner executiveand economic sponsors to drive product adoption, awareness, and ensurethey are using the solution(s) correctly to achieve continuous businessvalue.
Partner with, support, and enable internalOracle stakeholders across product management, engineering, DevOps,marketing, support, and sales to align account activities with thecustomer's business challenges and ~~~ the Voice of the Customer
Educate customers and partners on newfeatures and releases.Providethought leadership on the Cloud Security and IAM subject and market areas
Monitor and identify adoption andutilization trends, provider recommendations based on risk and businessneeds.
Conduct periodic customer healthreviews to help customers articulate value derived
Identify renewal risk, includingpotential competition and other internal Customer factors, and collaboratewith internal teams to remediate and ensure a successful renewal
Create and deliver enablement contentto customers, partners, and internal stakeholders on Oracle Cloud Securityand Identity services, good practices, utilization, etc.
Document customer success stories
Qualifications and
skills:
5 years of experience in a consulting, sales engineering,
or customer success organization
Must have expertise
in the security internals of cloud services including at least two of the largest
enterprise platforms in IaaS and SaaS
Must have 5 years
of IT Security expertise covering at least two of the following: security and
risk management, content security, network security, identity and access management,
security operations from design, architecture, implementation,
deployment, maintenance, and utilization
Must have the ability to create and deliver
enablement content to streamline the onboarding, operationalization, and
utilization / consumption processes for customers, partners, and internal field
stakeholders
General knowledge of cloud architectures as well
as on-premise IT landscape
Excellent written and verbal communications
skills with the ability to present to large audiences (e.g. Oracle OpenWorld)
Excellent client facing and communication skills
(written and verbal), including issue tracking, triaging and crisis management
across different levels of a customer’s organization, especially at the
executive C-Suite level
Computer Science /
Engineering degree or experience is required. MBA is a plus.
Available to travel up to 50%
Detailed Description and Job Requirements
Lead a team that acts as the central resource and driving force for the design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing of product(s) as they move from conception to distribution. Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget.
As a member of the product development division, you will specify, design and implement major changes to existing software architecture. Define project needs. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering to ensure consistency, testability and portability across products in general.
Provide leadership and expertise in the development of new products/services/processes, frequently operating at the leading edge of technology. Recommends and justifies major changes to existing products/services/processes. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 8 or more years of software engineering or related experience.
