You will focus on understanding your end-users' needs and how EDP Analytics can be designed and developed to meet those needs in an intuitive and scalable manner. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining the EDP Analytics roadmap, making ongoing trade-off decisions by applying strong technical and strategic judgement that balances delivering products with longer-term, business planning. This role is inherently cross-functional, working closely with data analysts, data scientists, software engineering, privacy & governance experts, security engineers, & key technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Build a product roadmap for our EDP Analytics offering that leverages Microsoft Azure Cloud capabilities and ensures accessibility, security, and scalability concerns are delivered.

Capture and articulate EDP Analytics user journeys, teasing out pain points and areas of opportunity for enhanced value across multiple personas.

Provide product training, overviews, on-going progress reports to end-users, stakeholders, and executive leadership.

Manage bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make trade-offs, balance the business needs versus technical constraints, and maximize business benefit.

Required Qualifications

Background in user experience design principles and concepts with a strong ability to translate user needs to software solutions - 'customer centricity'.

Ability to capture requirements and develop acceptance criteria for engineering implementation, ensuring the EDP Analytics user journey and success factors are translated back to engineering resources.

Strong communication and presentation skills for multiple audiences - technical, non-technical, executives, and peers.

Ability to bridge gaps between customers and technology. Someone who can help us make sound technical decisions. Technical experience (ideally as data base architect, data engineer, sales engineering or architecture) that enables you to understand the nuances of data pipeline issues & solutions from both an engineering and end user perspective.

Prior experience in cloud computing (Azure experience is desirable but not required)

Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product

Goal-driven, comfortable with establishing objectives and key results and thinking about the impact we can deliver. Someone who's always trying to understand how we can better measure our progress.

Strong analytical mentality. You love complex problems and enjoy breaking them down while using data to inform the path forward. Can quickly synthesize and analyze data to present a compelling reason to proceed (or change) a course of action. Someone who can use data to drive decisions.

Collaborative personality. You thrive in environments where you work with a diverse set of partners in order to achieve your objectives and can get desired outcomes completed regardless of the obstacles that may be present.

Attention to detail combined with drive. You will take ownership of projects and take pride in seeing them through to full completion!

Expertise in agile software engineering best practices for the full software development life cycle, including agile estimation and planning, writing acceptance criteria for stories, and identifying early and iterative demonstrable value in collaboration with engineering.

Experience leading cross-functional teams to deliver products and projects on tight deadlines
