This role is responsible for building, maintaining, and leading the growth of an enterprise data platform by fulfilling the Product Owner role within Data Enablement release train. The enterprise data platform will house sharable versions of our most strategic data assets to encourage more effective and efficient sharing of data across Cox Automotive. The Senior Product Manager will act as a key participant in the delivery stream and/or release train process, and will be responsible for defining user stories, prioritizing the team backlog, and contributing a solid understanding of end users and their needs, technical options, and future capabilities for the product. The position demands frequent interactions with all levels of the organization, both with business unit data users, Data Solutions scientists, and both centralized and business unit technology partners. QualificationsCollaborate with Technology to produce sharable data assets and an elegant access methodology for users across the company Own, prioritize, and maintain the product backlogPartner with areas of Data Enablement to understand needs and execute on value-added work to increase richness and usability of enterprise data platformServe as the “voice of the customer” to the delivery team by representing and reinforcing the customer’s perspective throughout product realization cycles Partner with a cross-functional team of designers, business analysts, developers, testers, and others to develop and execute against product roadmaps and release plans Collaborate with other product owners, product managers and other stakeholders to define, prioritize, and drive realization of product vision to meet quarter goalsAct as the subject-matter expert for assets in the enterprise data platformBreak down epic-level user stories into detail-level stories consumable and testable by a scrum/kanban team Provide direction and support to engineering teams working on the platformAccept and review completed stories with a focus on product qualityDevelop and maintain effective working relationships with subject matter experts, analysts, data scientists, and technology teams across Cox Automotive in order to support enterprise data, data sharing, and analytics productsSettle disputes between parties effectively and for the best of Cox Automotive; be autonomous and make decisions without oversight when appropriateCoach and mentor fellow product owners on the delivery stream/release train','','','!*!Required Experience (minimum): BA or BS degree required; 10 years of experience in related field (i.e., data and analytics, product and/or product management, IT).7 years of experience in Product Owner, Systems Analyst, or Business Analyst role7 years of experience working on cross-functional, high-performing teamsSuccessful track record of working with people across multiple disciplines to create, build, and launch successful data and analytic productsDemonstrated ability to be a highly functioning team member and work on initiatives that require cross-functional teams.Creative thinker with an open mind to learn and explore new areas and to develop and recommend opportunities and solutions.Strong ability to give clear and consistent instructions to team members, and to lead, motivate, and supervise project and/or working teams.Proven execution and product management skillsProven ability to scope technical requirements for delivering measurement/analytics plans and productsDesire to learn about all parts of the Cox Automotive business to better understand the data and related processes.Excellent interpersonal and organizational skillsExcellent written and verbal communication abilities10% time travel requirementWhat We Look For (preferred): Experience in the automotive spaceExperience working in a Safe Agile environmentExperience with or exposure to big data and/or cloud technologies','!*!About Cox Automotive Cox Automotive is transforming the way the world buys, sells and owns cars with industry-leading digital marketing, retail, financial and wholesale solutions for consumers, dealers, manufacturers and the overall automotive ecosystem worldwide.
