The PBM Product Specialist will support one of UMRs key value propositions, the OptumRX integrated solution. The Product Specialist will be responsible for the design, development, management or sunsetting of new, existing or acquisition products. Review product performance against expectations and facilitates or influences changes to product portfolio to improve competitive position and optimal product performance. May work with internal or external business constituents to determine product future direction or respond to product inquiries. May be project-based and involve working within multiple product functions.
The PBM Product Specialist will work with UMR operations, OptumRx product, UMR and OptumRx Growth and Retention teams, and Customer Solutions teams.
Proactive review of ORx products
Product meeting facilitation with ORx
Internal UMR process management to approve and roll out new Rx products
Maintenance of all internal documentation, communications, and oversight of ORx processes
Provide applicable training to UMR AM and internal teams for new product rollout
High School Diploma / GED or higher
Intermediate Experience with MS Excel and Word.
1 year product, client management, project management or operations management experience in the health care industry and extensive experience with assigned product lines
Pharmacy Benefit Management industry experience
