Profile

As a member of the Amazon Key Product Marketing Team, you will help create marketing programs to promote Amazon Key. You will be responsible for the go-to-market strategy and execution for components of the Amazon Key portfolio, including the Amazon Key Home Kit bundles. You will define and execute a customer acquisition plan that ties back to our overall business objectives. You will create innovative marketing campaigns across channels, including SEM, display advertising, social media, events, email, and press releases. You will work with partners on co-marketing strategy, planning and execution to coordinate with onsite and offsite campaigns. You will dive deep into insights and data to formulate and sell your strategy to key stakeholders. You will also track the performance of your programs from awareness/sentiment, SEOs, and conversion rates and present your findings to Amazon Key senior management. You will work with product managers to improve the product offering based on the results and feedback from the marketing channels. Collaboration is crucial to your success in this role as you will work across different organizations within and outside of Amazon. If you want to grow your start up skills within the security of the Amazon engine this is the role for you.
Specific functions are as follows:
• Own go-to-market strategy and execution of product launches
• Develop value proposition and messaging frameworks, and drive articulation of product portfolio positioning, aligned to Amazon Key goals
• Work closely with Product Managers to identify needs and sharpen product offerings based on feedback from customers and competitive positioning
• Maintain and communicate the GTM roadmap
• Create compelling sales and marketing collateral to drive adoption/conversion
• Conduct adoption analysis and develop recommendations for growth initiatives
• Create A/B testing for landing page messaging and run test throughout the year and adjust materials accordingly
• Identify internal and 3rd party research needs to support product positioning and go-to-market plans
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS • 5 years' experience in product marketing, product management, or product development
• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science or related discipline
• Communication skills and clear customer focus
• Strong bias for data-driven decision-making and experience in distilling complex, analytically dense products into client-facing solutions
• Demonstrated experience and ability in driving product positioning development
• Ability to synthesize advertising customer needs to improve customer experience
• Ability to create compelling sales collateral and marketing materials
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS • Digital advertising and advertising technology experience
• Strong preference for experience in, and strong understanding of, search advertising and/or programmatic buying
• Project management experience and fanatical attention to detail
• Entrepreneurial spirit / ability to try different things with minimal direction
• Experience working cross-functionally across Sales, Product Management, Marketing, PR, Legal, and Research
• Quick decision-making abilities demonstrating bias for action under tight timing and pressure
• Experience with managing product roadmaps
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, multi-tasked, high-energy environment
• Creative and analytical problem solvers with a passion for operational excellence
• MBA is desirable
