Director, Security Product Management
The Employee Identity and Access Management teams (EIAM) are responsible for end to end services to support Mastercard staff capabilities to retrieve access to Mastercard systems and applications, including physical and logical security access. These are the feature teams: Physical Access, Identity Lifecycle Management, Privileged Account Management, User Behavior Analytics, B2E Authentication, B2E Authentication, and Server Entitlements. In 2020, we will add an additional team for Cloud Based EIAM. The team manages twenty systems and has an OPEX budget of $30 MM.
The Director of Product Management is a people manager job to lead a team of product owners and scrum masters. He/she will also be responsible for leading the team for the overall EIAM strategy – including negotiating with other teams, communications about the strategy, and preparing supporting presentations, for Executive Management and the Board of Directors. He / She will have end to end accountability for the delivery of agile teams. success through objectives outlined. Included in this accountability is the performance over the EIAM SOC1 Controls.
Manages several products and works cross-functionally to drive overall EIAM strategy across the enterprise
Represents Senior Vice President, EIAM at key meetings such as Intake meeting and enterprise projects (such as India on Soil).
Prepares Employee Identity and Access Management product roadmaps and supporting budgets.
Advocates for and champions designated products
Identifies and submits business cases for consideration and prioritization for new business, product opportunities and business models to improve MasterCard's security posture in the Identity Access Management field
Selects and monitors performance metrics that assess product performance, scalability and longevity, and utilizes results to ideate innovative solutions to challenges in the business unit's portfolio or product strategy
Supervises group/team, ensures compliance to goal setting and performance appraisal processes, identifies and coaches top talent within own team Other Areas
Leads Life Cycle management of a small suite of products or products critical to the local business including conceptualization, enhancement, launch and continued evaluation
Meets with internal stakeholders for continuous improvements of the existing Identity Access Management services for improvements
Leads overall PI Planning across feature teams within Identity Access Management
Partners with Identity Access Management resource managers to provide feedback on internal resources for building high performance feature teams
Lead efforts for building strategy, roadmaps, and presenting to executives and other stakeholders as required
Identify and build efficiencies on the team so that the team is simple, smart, and providing maximum value
All About You
Strong management/leadership skills
Intermediate strategic/thoughtful risk taking experience
Intermediate Corporate Security skills, specifically to Identity Access Management is a plus
Intermediate skills in SAFe (agile) transformation practices
Strong experience in regulatory compliance (PCI, GLBA, SOX)
Experience with financial oversight is a plus
Experience in dealing with difficult situations and making decisions with a sense of urgency
Be able to think strategically two steps forward on what future focus areas
Be able to understand technically the tasks that they are working on & dig in to ask challenging questions to make sure that objectives are being executive efficiently
