Right now, we are seeking a Senior Manager, Product Management - Growth, based at Western Unions Digital headquarters in San Francisco, California.

As Growth Senior Product Manager it will be your job to identify and build growth levers that accelerate new and existing user growth trajectory. Youll do this by using your strong data-driven approach to identify highest potential areas across the product experience and test variants of those experiences to unlock growth opportunities.

You and your team will make sure that Western Union mobile app and web platform is evolving consistently across product areas and provide leadership to all product groups on how to develop our product suites to deliver the best user experience to our customers.

Youll develop a rapid pace of testing, learning, iterating and improving to unlocking growth opportunities at a rapid pace. Youll have a deep understanding of marketing tools and social channels and ability to leverage them in pursuit of growth.

In this role you will also be working closely with other product groups, marketing, regional business teams, customer support teams to understand customer expectations and design effective solution to exceed them. You bridge the technical and business worlds as you design services that our users love. The ideal Product Manager obsessively seeks to understand the customers perspective, is data-driven, has a bias toward action, and can break down complex problems into steps that drive product development.

An Ideal Candidate would:
- Identify growth levers to increase new user acquisition and existing user retention/stickiness.
- Use personalization as a growth lever.
- Manage growth roadmap. Essentially a list of tests, personalizations, tasks that need to be completed to accelerate growth
- Draft business requirements prioritize features, author user stories and acceptance criteria, and collaborating with scrum team members to ensure product features are delivered according to specifications
- Monitoring industry trends and VOC to inform growth strategies and hypothesis. Assess opportunities by identifying ROI and define key performance indicators
- Run rapid experimentation with ability to run multiple experiments in parallel.
- Uses customer segmentation, market research, and firsthand customer knowledge to refine plans, specifications, and designs for multiple feature areas/projects
- Ability to quickly scale successful experiments globally across multiple WU app and web properties
- Develops effective customer feedback loops, understands implications of feedback and translates that into better features and products
- Communicates the product strategy and vision in a compelling manner, which helps the team to remain focused on a common goal
- Provides compelling arguments on behalf of the feature areas that effectively counters executive skepticism or objections
- Understand product alternatives and work with multi-disciplined team to understand trade-offs and put value on alternatives
- Work with different stakeholders to bring engaging user experiences to life
- Manage a team of agile product owners.

What you will need to succeed:

- BA/BS in Computer Science or engineering, business, or equivalent
- 10 years of experience building and launching consumer applications on web and mobile platforms
- At least 5 years of product experience in Web/Mobile technologies, and Web/Mobile user experience
- Past technical background, with 3 years in an engineering role preferred
- Experience managing a team of product managers
- Strong experience of agile required, PO certification preferred
- Ability to break down requirements into epics and stories, grooming and elaboration of stories
- Ability to negotiate with engineering, UI, UX, Content on the story scope, complexity etc.
- Strong business writing, numerical analysis and verbal communication skills
- Get things done attitude; Self-motivated, with the ability to roll-up sleeves and prioritize critical deadlines
- Experience working with multiple stakeholders/teams in different countries with different cultural backgrounds
- Ability to work seamlessly with matrix teams, and juggle projects across multiple networks and platforms
- Attention to detail and a penchant for creating great customer experiences
