This opportunity is with Adheris Health, a Syneos Health company. In this role, you’ll join the industry leader in education and adherence programs that help patients stay on prescribed chronic drug therapy. Working with a national network of retail pharmacies and major pharmaceutical manufacturers, we design and administer programs designed to manage chronic disease, educate patients about their condition, and increase patient’s compliance with prescribed medication. You’ll be part of a successful organization with steady, but well-managed growth. At Adheris Health, we believe that product management is both art and science and to do it well requires talented and passionate team members who have the ability to be conceptual yet critical thinkers. The Product Director within Adheris Health is responsible for both product strategy/management and product marketing. This includes bringing innovation and new products to the portfolio of products, ensuring current and future products align with the organization’s strategic goals and objectives, managing the product throughout the product lifecycle, gathering and prioritizing product and client/partner requirements, defining the product value proposition and vision and working in sync with tech development to deliver successful products while driving revenue and profit for the organization. This role will also work closely business development, marketing and support functions to ensure products are achieving milestones and fully operationalized/maximized. This Product Director role will be accountable for our digital strategy and related products. More specifically:
Define the overall product strategy, UVP (unique value propositions), roadmaps and blueprints for execution
Support strategic planning efforts
Serve as project lead of Accelerator process to bring new products to market, vet partnerships, line extensions etc
Manage 3rd party relationships to build successful partnerships and ventures specific to expand the product line or related network
Develop and maintain market and competitive landscapes on quarterly basis
Create and maintain annual product budget
Deliver a monthly product forecast (ex. revenue vs budget; gaps; pipeline)
Ability to effectively translate technical and operational specs into marketable features and benefits
Develop the core positioning, messaging, features and benefits for product
Responsible for translating market needs and internal operational support requirements into detailed product requirements and providing direction to the technology team during the development cycle
Fully understands all the pieces to a product release and how to create a launch plan involving all of the downstream functions
Supervise User Acceptance planning and testing required for product launches
Maintain overall responsibility for pilot programs associated with product offering
Source, document and prioritize on-going product enhancements
Effectively manage the feature functionality of product offerings
Create product sales tools and collateral
Perform product demos as needed (external and internal)
Set pricing to meet revenue/profitability goals
Clearly communicate and openly collaborate across the organization to ensure alignment and limit impact related to any changes/updates
Develop training modules for internal training purposes
Provide live product training for organization, most importantly business development and account management team members
Participate in client and partner meetings to gather needs/wants as related to product
Performs other duties as assigned/needed as outlined by management
Along with demonstrated initiative, uncompromised integrity and a results-oriented mindset, the ideal candidate has
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Product Director role
Bachelor’s degree (MBA preferred)
Demonstrated ability of defining and launching successful products to market
Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills
Digital expertise/background, specifically in healthcare/healthcare marketing, patient and medication engagement
Must be able to execute without direction and be proactive in management of line
Adept at articulating business and product requirements to internal and external teams
Strong analytical skills for problem solving
Ability to work effectively at both a detailed and conceptual/strategic level
Self-directed and motivated with ability to perform under pressure and meet timelines/milestones
Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
Must be able to travel 20% of the time
