Position Summary The IT Product Manager at ChargePoint, Inc., is an opportunity for a seasoned software product manager professional to lead the company\u2019s efforts to develop roadmap and implement Sales and Support custom solutions. The position reports to the CIO and will share responsibility for partnering with the Sales and Support organizations worldwide to determine current processes and gaps related to customer support, partner portal and project management portals. This is a key role focused on successfully partnering with business teams and managing third party development teams through design, delivery, and implementation activities. The role entails technical project management, process implementation, and establishment of clear communication channels and direction. You will be the primary channel for daily interaction between all teams and key project team leaders worldwide. You will work closely with customers to coordinate plans, schedules, and resources during product development and sustaining activities. You will use experience in leading cross-functional, cross-boundary and cross-cultural teams to constructively engage with team members to deliver projects leveraging agile and dev-ops methodologies. You will be accountable for driving and managing the development teams to achieve pre-determined cost, quality and delivery targets and will also work closely with technical peer teams within the IT organization. This role would suit a self-motivated, results-oriented individual who is comfortable in an entrepreneurial environment and has experience in working effectively with and providing world-class solutions to customers. This is a hands-on leadership role, and will require strong experience and knowledge of browser based, native and mobile applications. Scope of Work: Responsible for program management of all technical aspects of product development: driving upfront project planning and seeking appropriate approvals, review of PRD\u2019s and collaboration on ERD\u2019s and specifications, driving crisp development execution, establishment of quality assurance plans and ongoing adherence to detailed budgeting and resource prioritizations Communicate clearly and effectively with customer regarding design and development program status, schedules, and issues Lead and manage vendors and remote team members effectively and ensure that progress is made on 1 to 2 week sprints Manage through influence and creativity, a world class product development team, which embodies the philosophy and goals of ChargePoint IT Standardize project development processes and updates by program, organize and facilitate regular review meetings for each program, clearly communicating development status, issues and successes. Drive program planning and product development activities with accurate and clear budget and resource planning models Partticipate in the planning and execution of User Experience studies Formulate solutions to customer issues and business needs Define the technical and user-centric design challenge and vision Qualification Requirements: 10 - 12 years IT experience - 7 years experience project and program management with 2 - 4 years of relevant work experience in product development leadership role Demonstrated ability as a successful technical and functional program manager where new products are delivered successfully (on time\/on budget) on three- to six-month product cycles Must have managed a number of programs from initial concept through development, launch, and end-of-life Excellent project and process management skills with the ability to define, build and adhere to successful development processes Proven ability to develop MRDs\/BRDs using different methodologies, including Story Boarding Candidate should have good awareness of the market dynamics and products in the cloud to recommend which functionalities should be developed and which ones should be purchased & integrated Candidate must have experience in agile, SCRUM methodology for software design, development, and delivery Ability to work independently with excellent leadership and communication skills: o Intense collaboration and ability top develop relationships with executives and business owners o Excellent organizational skills to work with array of information on multiple projects o Proven experience effectively prioritizing workload to meet deadlines and work objectives o Passionate customer focus o Thoughtful, fast, disciplined execution o Tenacious commitment to continuous improvement o Relentless drive to win o Strong writing capabilities, succinct and to the point If there is a match between your experiences\/skills and the Company needs, we will contact you directly.
