Position Responsibilities\\Requirements: PRODUCT MANAGER - Innovation Job Summary This position will be in support of our Payment Concepts team within FIS. Payment Concepts is part of our Product organization and is responsible for finding new technologies\/companies in the market, creating quick analysis of potential opportunity, and socializing with the appropriate internal teams. The overall goal is to find solutions that complement FIS\u2019 existing suite of Products. Primary Responsibilities \u00a0 Use industry events, accelerators, and other channels to find relevant technologies and companies that are complementary to the FIS product offering Complete interviews with potential partners to determine overall potential opportunity for FIS Make recommendations to internal resources based on overall assessments Act as Project Manager in a formalized Proof of Concept program \u2013 from contract execution, through monitoring, and everything in between Ideate new ways for redeploying existing assets in new ways to solve market problems Help manage Innovation centers in strategic FIS locations throughout the U.S. Other duties as assigned Educational Requirements Bachelor\u2019s degree in business or marketing or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience. Develops and administers schedules, performance requirements, and may have budget responsibilities. Typically requires a minimum of 7 to 10 years of experience in the financial services industry (preferably in product management discipline) as well as some customer service experience.
