This candidate will be working to take a product from Prototype stage to production. The equipment is used in Slaughter houses for Chicken and Beef. The prototype they have can process 20 pieces of chicken at a time. They want to scale it up to 4000 so they can sell it to Tyson and make it a marketable product. Work with product development engineers, manage the timeline, progress and budget for development activities for a specific equipment product. Work may include: product definition, testing, business case analysis, quality, pricing, manufacturing scale-up, and marketing as the product moves from development to launch. Provides periodic reports on progress. Develops, coordinates and participates in product testing and the accumulation of performance data. Monitors compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA\/QC policies, performance standards and specifications. Involved throughout all stages of a product's lifecycle, from product release through maintenance and upgrade of the product and end of life decisions. Works with third-party vendors, OEMs, customer test sites, educational institutions, etc., to address all development issues and effectively and efficiently move products to launch. Coordinates go-to-market activities with R&D, Engineering, Production, Marketing, Sales, Finance, and other internal stakeholders. Manages technical certification of products, as required.
