This is an Associate Product Manager role on our View Platform Team, which is a collection of applications that supports the backbone of bestbuy.com. This role works closely with internal product teams, thus providing a unique combination of serving internal customers while also having an impact on the end customer experience through ensuring the product delivers a stable and performant platform for bestbuy.com.
The Associate Product Manager role requires fundamental product management experience to effectively manage backlogs/products. They will contribute to team success through analysis, documentation, and backlog management. In this role you will work with cross-functional team members and partners for delivery, maintaining a focus on customer needs, while delivering against prioritized outcomes and advancing the product vision. You are responsible for sprint/backlog management and must understand and utilize key customer and business metrics to inform priorities. This role works closely with multiple engineering squads, embedded in their agile cadences, as well as with a variety of stakeholders. You will be responsible for supporting delivery through effective sprint/backlog prioritization that advances the team's highest priorities. This role may oversee and give direction to contract workers, building people management skills. You will also drive strategy through working with product leaders to effectively craft clear product outcomes and vision in partnership with engineering, connecting into Best Buy's broader strategic vision.
This Associate Product Manager contributes to our customer-focused team culture, actively seeks out, researches, and suggests new ways of working and ideas for product team feedback, masters skills to analyze product performance through qualitative and quantitative analysis tools and processes.

Required Qualifications: 1.5 years of related experience in a professional environment/workplace setting with an emphasis on consumer products, technology, or software development
Proven ability to articulate clear and concise requirements for new products and new features
Proven ability to analyze complex data sets and leverage that analysis to make data-driven product decisions
Proven ability to prioritize new feature and capability work through understanding benefits, consideration for emerging technologies, and alignment with the company vision
Proven ability to influence cross-functional team(s) without formal authority
Ability to understand basic and complex architectural diagrams and data flows
Experience with varied production methodologies such as forms of Agile development
Track record of product roadmap execution; completing and shipping excellent products that deliver clear results
Preferred Qualifications: Experience as a Product Manager managing roadmaps, assessing value, developing cases, and prioritizing stories, epics, and themes
Bachelor's or advanced degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Business or related field or equivalent work experience
