Here are the key components of this job: \u2022 Strategy \u2013 Lead the work to define the desired impact of the metric on sales behavior, in-light of Microsoft 365 strategy, Microsoft 365 ProWe are looking for a person with a strong track-record, who is looking to impact strategy across Sales, Engineering and Marketing orgs, while engaging with execs and operating in a complex business environment \u2013 all as part of owning the GSMO metric and seller quota on Microsoft 365 Active Usage. Here are the key components of this job: \u2022 Strategy \u2013 Lead the work to define the desired impact of the metric on sales behavior, in-light of Microsoft 365 strategy, Microsoft 365 Product Roadmap, GSMO blueprint for sellers, Customer Success and more. This requires strategic thinking and an ability to analyze and understand implications and trade-offs within a complex business environment. Needs to be customer obsessed to listen and understand field pain points and then drive back as biz requirements to help drive next version of solution. \u2022 Model \u2013 Design and develop the metric definitions and partner with Sales, Finance, Engineering and Marketing, and coupling it with rigorous data analysis and product considerations. Then, an ability to land the model across various senior stakeholders is required. \u2022 Product \u2013 Evolve the metric features based on the M365 strategy and roadmap, to focus the field on the core scenarios and workloads for Microsoft 365. This requires an ability to drive Engineering discussions and clear requirements to a development team in order to achieve improvements to current metric as well as additional data\/functionality. \u2022 Target\/Quota \u2013 Lead target negotiations with GSMO leaders at Corp, and then the Microsoft 365 BG Leads; Develop planning model and drive alignment and target cascade across WWIC, WWM&O and GSMO. \u2022 Governance - Oversee data for the metric is complete and accurate. Run monthly Governance board to ensure any possible changes\/bugs are socialized prior to implementation. This requires an understanding of Data and Data Schemas: not only for Microsoft 365, but across multiple Microsoft Systems including MSSales, CRM, Commerce Platform, and more. \u2022 Management \u2013 Lead a team of vendors who support data-related work, addressing field escalations and more. Basic Qualifications: \u2022 Bachelor\u2019s degree \u2022 3 years of experience in Finance, field operations OR business management The ideal candidate will have a strong Finance\/Field-Ops\/Business Management background, with a minimum of 3 years of experience. Undergrad degree Required; an MBA will be considered a plus. Candidates need to have a proven track record of strong collaboration, managing complexity and driving business results.
