The Sr. Technical Product Manager, Payments will be responsible for defining the requirements for our US transaction gateway and associated payments infrastructure. This position is responsible for both product planning and delivery, including managing products and solutions throughout the product lifecycle; gathering and prioritizing requirements; defining the vision, and working closely with engineering to deliver features for our product solutions suite. The Product Manager will synthesize the needs of our partners and their merchants; perform market and competitor analysis; and determine product priorities. They will be the internal champion for their product area and will articulate a vision to various stakeholders, continuously working to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction targets are met – in turn supporting the company’s overall strategy and goals.
Essential Functions/ Responsibilities:
Define and drive the overall product strategy and roadmap for the US gateway
Serve as the product owner of the payments back-end, our US gateway and the associated services and technologies.
Build and maintain use cases and user stories around the gateway product and communicate them effectively to build consensus and co-ordination of schedules with project managers, engineers and designers to deliver high-quality payment product features.
Communicate product vision and priorities to internal and external stakeholders.
Deliver product and business requirement documents with prioritized features and corresponding specifications.
Work with internal stakeholders across the Ingenico organization to ensure delivery of product enhancements that protect and grow existing transaction revenue streams.
Contribute to the development of guidelines, policies, and procedures to facilitate the implementation of new products and services associated with / connected to the gateway
Ensure clear articulation of the core positioning and messaging for the products including creating concise internal and external documentation and materials.
Make build, buy, or partner recommendations for various aspects of the gateway product and solutions.
Lead cross-functional teams to ensure we build a world-class card-present / card-not-present gateway product for our customers and their merchants.
Work with sales teams to prioritize/sequence Acquiring/Processor partner certification projects
Oversee the certification roadmap for all Acquiring/Processing partners for card-present and card-not-present connections, as well as compliance updates to existing host interfaces.
Serve as the subject matter expert of all card-present and card-not-present transaction services.

Competencies / Skills Requirements:
Expert knowledge of creating customs Hybris extensions and cockpit customizations
Skilled knowledge of integrating SAP Hybris platform and other 3
services and enterprise systems (OMNS, Payment Gateways, Tax Services, Ratings & reviews services, Web Analytics solutions, etc.)
Expert level knowledge in implementing Responsive Design Frontends and API based applications
Expert knowledge of system architecture, system sizing and/or JEE components tuning
Expert knowledge of Java thread and memory dumps
Expert level knowledge in Performance/Scalability Engineering, Security aspects and Development Strategies of Hybris B2C Commerce applications
Expert knowledge of Hybris Impex engine, Data Hub, FlexibleSearch
Expert knowledge working with Oracle Database
Expert understanding of continuous integration concepts, build processes and tools (ANT, Maven, Jenkins, automated builds, automated unit tests and continuous builds)
Intermediate understanding of source conde control processes, code branching/merging strategies & source code control tools (Subversion, GIT, etc.)
Knowledgeable of A/B multi-variant testing tools
An in-depth knowledge and understanding of payments acceptance technologies (EMV, NFC), payment security standards (P2PE, PCI) and the US & Canadian payment markets.
Exceptional organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to see beyond short terms needs and asks.
Demonstrated success defining and launching world-class products and solutions.
Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority including being able to be analytical and fact-based when necessary to defend product roadmap decisions
Given the changing nature of the payments space, be a flexible and creative thinker able to craft solutions to business opportunities.
Have a passion and appreciation for all things within the payments space, including the latest innovations and market trends with an ability to translate these into functional product requirements.
Experience working in a consultative environment with a global team of diverse background
This position does not have direct supervisory responsibilities, but does serve as a coach and mentor for other positions in the department.
Required Education/Experience Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business, computer science or engineering; MBA a plus
SAP Hybris Developer Certification preferred but not required
Minimum of 6 years product management experience with payments products and technologies
8 years of relevant work experience with a focus on architecture, design and development of omnichannel eCommerce and JEE applications, preferably within a retail/commerce environment
5 years of hands-on experience with various SAP Hybris 5.3 and 6.1 modules (B2C Commerce, SOLR, WCMS, Hybris B2C Accelerator, etc.)
5 years of Java/JEE development experience with hands on Spring technologies like MVC, Events, integrations, date, security, etc. deployed on Apache Tomcat
3 years of experience developing Apache SOLR driven functionality for large consumer facing websites
3 years of experience leading an agile development team in a mixed methodology environment
Experience working on multi-language/multi-currency eCommerce websites using Hybris platform
Experience working in a US card-present payment products environment for a payment gateway or payments service provider.
Experience with, and a high degree of proficiency in Microsoft office (primarily Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
Experience with project and process management systems including MS Project, Confluence, JIRA or equivalent.
