Disney Enterprise Technology is responsible for technology strategy and management, central engineering, architecture, IT and technical operations for The Walt Disney Company. In addition to supporting the digital products of the company, Enterprise Technology also provides back-of-house services for the company, from the network layer on up. This includes providing a comprehensive set of products and services to support the day-to-day productivity and collaboration of the workforce, not just to deliver products and experiences, but also to build a culture of sharing and innovation across business segments, time zones, and countries contributing to a more productive, engaged, and creative workforce.

Within Enterprise Technology, the Workforce Enablement (WE) group provides multiple platforms and single-purpose products used to empower productivity, collaboration, and mobility. Additionally, WE engineers and provides products and services that empower authoring, publishing, and discovery of content and information. Applied products vary in nature from core-enterprise to segment-specific offerings.

Responsibilities :

Product Management / Ownership and Information Architecture: PRODUCT STRATEGY, DESIGN, and INTEGRATION

for Enterprise Service Management Portals and Experiences

Roadmap and Strategy: Develop product and technology roadmaps from concept through launch. Update, disseminate, and provide on-going awareness of product roadmaps.

Agile Product Ownership: Collaborate with internal technology teams and 3rd party partners to define, design, and deliver on user stories and customer demand.

User Experience and Information Architecture: Persona, archetype, and customer journey mapping to support thoughtfulness in delivery of employee experiences which are accessible to diverse workforce. Construction of schemas, structures, and flows to support a well thought out information architecture that drives great search and navigation experiences for our customers.

KPIs: Definition, tracking, and reporting of KPIs and success metrics relevant to current product offerings. Measurement of product performance through pilots, product evolution, and rationalization activities

Partnership in advocacy: Builds partnerships with Enterprise Technology and Segment Communication teams to develop and execute on product advocacy plans.

CONNECTED EXPERIENCE PARTNERSHIP

Partnering closely with HR Strategy Lab and Segment Technology teams on transforming and transitioning employee experiences through multiple projects and initiatives. The individual leading this effort will maintain a goal of delivering a delightful and productive experience to cast members and employees while keeping business alignment and technical currency with the technology solutions.

​ CUSTOMER ENGAGEMENT

Customer Empathy –

through a deep understanding of customers in different verticals, geographies, and business lines through user interviews, conversations, and request intake reviews.

On-Going Engagement:

Meets regularly with customers (Stakeholders, Process Owners) in our businesses to understand their needs, capture user stories, and support their evolving needs.

Community Development:

Build and foster a cross-functional working group of enterprise service management portal leaders and developers from across TWDC with the goal of highlighting innovation, providing consistent experiences for employees, and driving efficiency through common frameworks and practices.

TREND WATCH:

Management of technology radars and other visualizations to describe landscape to technology executives and business stakeholders

Thought leadership and dissemination of POVs through regular awareness of industry trends pertaining to current or competing products in service landscape

Contributor to user groups, communities, and conferences relating to core product lines and technologies

Basic Qualifications :

4 years of experience in a UI Design, UX Architecture, or Product Management role

2 years of recent experience in Web or Mobile Software Development

Exceptional verbal, written, and visual communication skills, including an ability to communicate effectively with business and non-technical stakeholders in all levels of organization (executive stakeholders to end-users).

Familiar with UI/UX design, wire-framing, and customer journey mapping

Experienced in constructing IA (Information Architecture) schemas and structures and designing effective navigation and search systems

Proven track record of driving ideation, definition, analysis, validation, agile development, maintenance, and end-of-life

Able to thrive in ambiguous situations, driving clarity and focus, setting priorities, and converting ideas into action

Highly organized, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple ongoing priorities.

Intermediate proficiency in HTML/JavaScript/CSS, and web technologies

Willing to wear many hats (e.g. Product Manager, Business Analyst, Software Engineer, Project Manager, Information Architect) when required and engage in both planning, presentation, and hands-on work to move the needle and drive change

Preferred Qualifications :

2 years of experience leading information architecture for a major enterprise

2 years of experience in deploying to or supporting solutions in ServiceNow or other enterprise service management platforms

2 years of recent experience in Web or Mobile Software Development

2 years of experience delivering conversational bots or AI/ML/NLP integrated solutions

Extensive experience partnering with software engineering and service delivery teams in deploying enterprise grade solutions

Extensive experience optimizing navigation and search for employee or customer facing experiences that support multiple archetypes and personas

Well versed in ITIL and ITSM best practices

Professional experience in software development of web and mobile applications

Experience with ServiceNow Platform and Products (Service Portals, CMS, Service Catalog, ITSM, etc.)

Experience deploying public cloud solutions to Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud

Required Education :

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Human Computer Interaction, User Experience and Interaction Design, Informatics, Information Architecture, Library and Information Science, Information Management

Preferred Education :

Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Human Computer Interaction, User Experience and Interaction Design, Informatics, Information Architecture, Library and Information Science, Information Management
