This role is preferred to be in Marlborough, MA but could have the flexibility to be based in Minnetonka.
About the role
Boston Scientific is looking for a passionate marketing leader who is excited about commercializing businesses to drive growth and take share. The GPM is responsible for leading the pelvic floor product marketing team, and developing and driving key marketing & business objectives for the Pelvic Floor franchise. This includes involvement in setting strategic direction for the worldwide business, meeting revenue & profitability targets globally, defining the upstream product cadence in collaboration with R&D colleagues, crafting downstream strategies inclusive of evidence, physician and patient engagement, building a high performance marketing team, and working cross-functionally with MDM, integrated marketing, R&D, operations, quality, clinical, reimbursement and sales.
Your responsibilities will include:
*Represents Global Marketing and franchise in developing new concepts for product development and/or acquisition. Capable of being part of multiple product development (PDP) teams simultaneously; leads creation of market specifications and financial models. May be involved in marketing diligence on acquisition targets. *Develops and executes high-quality product marketing plans (value proposition(s), positioning, customer targeting, pricing, branding, and evidence strategies, etc.). *Creates innovative downstream marketing solutions, programs and tools to create value and support the needs of the sales team. Programs include both customer- and patient- focused activities. *Creates relationships and strategic partnerships with key opinion leaders and societies to execute critical franchise & business initiatives. Regularly connects to drive education, market adoption and innovation of BSC products. Serves as the Product Marketing lead for key tradeshows and physician-engagement opportunities. *Develops global relationships and builds credibility with key internal cross-functional stakeholders, including regional leads, as well as Clinical Sciences and Health Economics and Market Access (HEMA) teams on evidence strategy and execution, and medical education programs. *Develops forecasts for supply chain as well as overall revenue planning, and will play a leadership role in internal gatherings such as National Sales such as annual financial and marketing meetings. Develops and manages marketing budget. *Serve as the subject matter expert across the portfolio and disease states. In collaboration with Marketing Strategy & Analysis, gathers customer and market insights to inform key decisions and marketing strategies. Develops deep understanding of competitors and leads competitive action / response plans.

*Bachelor’s degree required, MBA preferred *Excellent coaching, personnel development and leadership skills *Medical Device experience preferred *7+ years marketing experience required *Experience creating impactful marketing plans and developing value propositions, positioning, and targeting *Experience building relationships with key customers and cross-functional partners, global and domestic *Domestic and global travel up to 35%
