Business Development Solutions Architect (BDSA) is an Alliance Partner focused technical business development professional, who provides high level support, enablement, and guidance to FireEye Strategic Partners such as; System Integrators, Technology Partners, Service Providers and their respective clients. Develops and executes a solution strategy and business plan with the Strategic Alliance Manager that supports FireEye’s overall strategy and product growth. Shape, design, and plan specific service lines to be used as a blueprint within the global alliances organization. These activities will include customer meetings, product development/management/marketing review, systems integration lab work and drive the partner specific certification processes. Help to define and drive the Service Provider, System Integrator, and/or Technology Partner vision and strategy within FireEye as well as evangelize FireEye products and services. Collaborates with FireEye alliances, field, channel, internal, product management, and engineering teams to recommend and develop appropriate integration and solution offerings.
The BDSA acts in a consultative fashion and is looked to as an expert in his/her field both internal and external to the company. Primary to the BDSA role is to Identify, create, and manage key technical relationships, developing solutions and/or creating complementary products/services to integrate into the partner portfolio producing strategic sales opportunities. Defines mutual goals and objectives and builds awareness and support of overall strategic benefits of the alliance to FireEye, channel partners, and strategic partners. Provides End-to-End business and technical solutions and use cases.Acts as a visionary and strategist for strategic partner solution, service, and/or portfolio. Surveys market landscape for solutions and product insights, direction, vendors, and methods.
Helps marketing develop materials and position strategies for product area, in conjunction with overall marketing message framework. Manages and coordinates sales and marketing activities between FireEye, Partners, and the field. Speaks at trade conferences and seeks authorship opportunities in trade publications.
This is a highly visible role for FireEye that will require occasional international and frequent domestic travel over periods of self-directed activity to help drive FireEye's vision out to our strategic partners and the broader market as a whole.

Facilitate cross-team collaboration for globally distributed organizations – supporting GSP and Consulting Partners, while evangelizing strategy, enforcing best practices and incorporating feedback from internal resources, partners and clients alike.
Ensure proposals are technically sound, deliverable, competitive and representative of market leadership.
Leveraged as SME in Developing Technical Solution documents, programs, architectural designs, and Engineering/development efforts as well as field demonstration.
Proven experience in a Solutions Architect or Sr. Pre-Sales SE or Technical Marketing Engineering role.
Business development experience in a consulting and/or services environment
Proven expereince in a security focused technical lead and/or solutions architect role
B.S./B.A./M.S. degree or equivalent experience/technical training
Excellent organizational and project management skills
Deep understanding of Modern Malware Lifecycle, Malware/Forensic Analysis, Cyber Security, threat landscape, and the overall value of intelligence
Understanding of both network and host based security solutions (HBSS) such as; Anti-virus, IPS/IDS, Firewall, Proxy, etc.
Industry Certifications highly desirable such as : CISSP, ITIL, Ethical Hacker, SANS etc
Ability to travel extensively
Optional: Understanding of Linux troubleshooting and administration
Optional: Experienced in Structured Query Language
Optional: Scripting experience in Bash and/or Python
Optional: Product Management experience
