The Product Management Analyst provides support to the Exclusive Brands (ExB) Product Management team in a variety of areas to build sales and enhance profitability. This role will work with multiple ExB Product Managers and global cross-functional teams located throughout North America and Asia for the tactical execution of the category strategy.

Requirements include highly organized and analytical individual with the ability to manage multiple changing priorities concurrently, advanced level of proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite and a flexible schedule to accommodate evening/early morning conference calls. The position is very fast paced and requires heavy attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities:

Commercialization Process

Project Schedule Management

Develop and maintain project schedules for all assigned products/categories that can quickly and accurately inform the global cross-functional teams of the status of all tasks and milestones related to the projects.

PLM Sharepoint Site Management

Initiate and manage all necessary documents/forms required to fully complete the commercialization of ExB products.

Packaging

Manage the design and review of product packaging and documentation; coordinate communication between the global cross-functional teams and third-party suppliers to ensure accuracy and timely delivery of packaging and documentation. Proof ALL packages and product documents to ensure accuracy before products begin mass production.

SKU Set Up

Accurate and timely (in time for Merchandising Specialist to complete the process on schedule) - PIM tool is a part of this and Asia Operations follow up is required

Manage sku updates as needed including adding UPCs, changing supplier numbers, SKU attributes, item dimensions; record updates in applicable sheets

Manage process to have samples sent to the photo studio for packaging creation, dotcom, print/digital ads, etc.

Request high-res image from the vendor, submit to the digital assets team

Complete spec sheets from Final Product Specifications, submit to third-party partners for dotcom setup.

Work with merchant team on fact tags, web pages, etc.; review and approve

Manage sample process for testing, qualification, trade shows, mock ups, etc.

Manage images with Assets team in order to get SKUs up on BBY.com in time for launch date, or earlier if doing pre-orders

Planogram process

Monitor in-store planogram execution, provide action plan for correcting issues

Includes dot com once the SKU is loaded on the site

Work with Merchant/Sr. Merchant and Space Analyst to set up planograms in mock up room

Global Cross-functional Team

Coordinate and facilitate global cross-functional team communication for all teams supported.

Schedule and facilitate weekly cross-functional team meetings at the MN headquarters, as well as weekly global cross-functional team conference calls.

Ensure that all global cross-functional team members are informed of the status of all tasks and milestones pertaining to related projects.

Identify project risks and develop action plans to mitigate risks and keep projects on schedule.

Work closely with Global Sourcing and Legal teams to ensure all vendor contracts (i.e., MA, VPA) are fully executed on schedule.

Category Management

Assist in collaboration with associated Merchant teams to develop category strategies that leverage ExB products appropriately.

Conduct online and in-store competitive analysis for assigned categories to ensure ExB products are positioned competitively within the market place and help identify opportunities for new ExB products/categories.

Run and analyze sales reports. Provide the global cross-functional team with these reports, as well as opinions/ideas regarding ways to improve product/category performance.

Transition Management - maintaining/supporting product roadmaps for in/out communication to all related teams within and outside of ExB.

Promotion Management

MDF management (work with suppliers to collect).

Manage cost changes with ExB suppliers and internal business team partners.

Proofs all marketing vehicles (inserts, direct mail, RZ Promo Packs, etc.), signs, and dot com (if applicable).

Collaborates with Channel Ops on communication around bundles and signage, and initiates work request form set up and execution.

Basic Qualifications:

2 or more years experience in Retail operations including demand planning or forecasting

2 or more years experience in Merchandising or product marketing

2 or more years experience in Vendor or supply base management preferred.

Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
