Description: Lead the development, execution, and communication of health economics and outcomes research strategies and associated evidence generation tactics for pre-launch and in-line product(s) to enhance brand value propositions and optimize product reimbursement, formulary positioning, and utilization. Duties & Responsibilities: Collaborate\/partner cross functionally to create brand strategies, tactics, and US focused value propositions for product(s) under responsibility. Develop and execute product-specific US HEOR objectives in alignment with brand strategies to support disease awareness and product value propositions that are relevant to our customers. Co-lead the development of the market access strategy through collaboration with U.S. pricing and reimbursement colleagues in alignment with the brand. Design, conduct, report, and communicate HEOR studies and develop disease and product specific economic models to demonstrate the value of BI products. Collaborate\/ partner cross functionally to ensure the incorporation of HEOR perspective\/ value endpoints\/ evidence requirements of US decision makers (e.g, payers) in clinical development programs and commercial evaluations. Develop and implement effective and innovative communication strategies for internal and external audiences to ensure effective delivery of value propositions. Collaborate\/partner with HEOR Field team and act as the liaison to Brand teams to ensure the incorporation of field insights into brand strategies and HEOR tactics Translate HEOR research into effective communication tools for use by the field-based teams in customer interactions. Assess marketplace for comparative effectiveness research (CER) requirements that affect BI products and integrate payers\u2019 needs into HEOR and Phase IV research plans. Follow and comply with all compliance laws and regulations. Lead HEOR staff in a goal driven, customer-oriented manner with emphasis on quality deliverables, timeliness, and compliance to budget. Provide day-to-day guidance on HEOR projects and set\/manage goals for team members and approve individual development plans. Requirements: Doctoral degree in health services research, health economics research or related field strongly preferred; PhD \u201cequivalent\u201d \u2013 A clinical degree (typically MD or PharmD) and a Masters degree in a revelant discipline and evidence that they can do PhD level work (first author publications on HEOR research). Must have at least a Master\u2019s degree in related field \u00b7Doctoral degree in health services research, health economics research or related field strongly preferred; PhD \u201cequivalent\u201d \u2013 A clinical degree (typically MD or PharmD) and a Masters degree in a revelent discipline and evidence that they can do PhD level work (first author publications on HEOR research). Must have at least a Master\u2019s degree in related field Project Management experience Demonstrated expertise in health services research, pharmacoeconomic analyses, patient-reported outcomes, prospective and retrospective observational research and their application to evaluation of pharmaceuticals. Strong methodological, quantitative and analytical skills. Knowledge of the pharmaceutical business including R&D, clinical and marketing, as well as a deep understanding of the health care environment and managed care and its impact on the industry. Strong communication (oral and written) and project management skills. Strong presentation and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability in participating and leading cross-functional teams. Must meet the competencies required for the role Functional expertise and experience in health economics and outcomes research including strategy development and design and execution of projects are required. \u00a0Leadership skills are required for leading cross-functional teams focusing on HEOR work.
