Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Head of Digital Experience, the Product Owner is responsible for the day-to-day ideation and execution of new functionality, features and content initiatives for Christie\u2019s digital platforms.In particular, this individual will play a critical role in the ongoing evolution of Christies.com and the Christie\u2019s iOS App, and will help position Christie\u2019s as a digital thought leader. This position includes research and assessment of user needs, key metrics analysis of website performance, development and execution of strategies to improve user experience and monetization, and creation of partnerships as necessary to build new products and functionality. The Product Owner must be able to communicate across multiple levels within the business, working closely with other product owners, developers, designers, legal, marketing, operations, finance and executive teams to bring features and products to market and develop and grow business opportunities.The Product Owner also serves as an evangelist for Christie\u2019s digital products both internally and externally.This individual will participate in developing the strategy and vision for Christie\u2019s digital platforms, creating and maintaining product roadmaps and features based on this strategy and vision.A successful candidate must be highly analytical, able to work well in a diverse, global organization, and have a passion for building great client experiences.Specific duties & responsibilities will include but are not limited to Work in close cooperation with clients, users and internal Christie\u2019s staff to research, assess and define user requirements for new product features and functions to improve the user experience and achieve targeted improvements in key performance metrics. Forecast and monitor financial and non-financial key performance indicators, and create regular reporting for Senior Management on trends affecting performance. Collect and analyze user feedback with regard to service, quality and usability.Coordinate the resolution of technical product and quality of service issues, and generate and implement strategies for service improvement and growth. The Candidate Bachelor\u2019s degree.MBA or Master\u2019s degree in relevant field is preferred.6 years of consumer facing software product management experience in web, mobile web and mobile app.Online auction, apparel or real estate experience is a plus. Passion for transformative user experiences.Familiarity with auction business needs is a plus.Experience leading cross-functional teams to deliver consumer software products and projects using agile methodology.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, coordinating complex product releases and managing software development schedules.Proven track record of taking ownership and successfully delivering digital products in an Agile environment.Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics to inform recommendations and drive actions.Experience with A\/B and multivariate testing methodologies is a plus.Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss technical concepts.Familiarity with mobile technologies, web services, and back-end application infrastructure.Excellent written and verbal communication and analytical skills with demonstrated experience engaging and influencing senior executives.Goal oriented and self-motivated within a team environment. Must have a competitive mind-set and give Christie\u2019s an edge in an already competitive auction marketplace.
