Centrify is looking for a highly effective Senior Manager of Product Marketing to take on leveraging our extensive customer base for their benefit as well as our own marketing value.
This role will need strong interpersonal skills, detail orientation and event planning in order to not only organize our Customer Marketing program, but in addition to form strong relationships with our top customer influencers. In this role you will create and manage our customer advisory board as well as create customer communities and engagement for three levels of personas, executive, director/architect, and user/practitioner. In addition create and manage on ongoing program for customer references for marketing (PR, Analyst, etc) as well as ongoing program to document case studies in many different media formats.
Build a global customer reference program and deliver the references and customer success assets required to support marketing and sales needs
Build a customer advisory program and board to deepen relationships and engagement among for 3 levels (Executive, Director/Architect, and Practitioner) in key accounts
Build and manage customer advisory community forum working with teams including services, social and products that engages customers to network with each other, with Centrify, as well as incentivizes reference participation.
Acquire a deep knowledge of our customer base, existing customer story content, mine and use that content to increase its effectiveness, and manage that content to increase usability and visibility
Identify top reference accounts and cultivate champions within those accounts to speak to press and analysts, and participate in marketing activities (case studies, awards, videos, reference forums, speaking opportunities)
Meet with customers to identify and document stories; source and use multiple sources of data to quantify value created by our solutions
Work with cross functionally to develop high quality material (slides, quotes, infographics, case studies, blogs, ROI/TCO studies) to support sales efforts, demand gen programs, and awareness initiatives
Manage system for tracking customers, their use cases, reference status marketing asks, and assets
Work closely with PR and AR team to secure customer references for media and analyst opportunities
Monitor and manage customer participation in 3rd party reference platforms such as Gartner Peer Insights, G2 Crowd, and Trust Radius.
Stay abreast of the latest customer marketing best practices, approaches, innovations, technologies
Grow our base of customer advocates, and manage customers through the reference pipeline
Monitor and report on reference trends, usage, participation and traction against goals to assess successes and gaps
5-7 years’ experience in marketing and 3 years in customer marketing
Proven ability to create customer success materials and drive advocacy
Extensive understanding and experience of marketing discipline and creative process.
Demonstrated success leading customer advocacy programs is preferable but not essential.
Demonstrated ability to build strong, lasting relationships with internal and external constituents (customers, media, product leadership, executives, etc.).
Preferred experience with developing and executing user groups, advisory councils and user conferences
Preferred B.S. in Marketing or related studies
Demonstrated organizational ability and attention to detail required
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, “get it done” entrepreneurial environment
Must be flexible and able to react promptly
