About the Sr. Product Manager Role
Our team is at the epicenter of Comcast’s construction universe! P2 is a sophisticated National Construction Platform responsible for tracking costs and construction activity across the Comcast footprint, as well as data/ reporting for the Network Design Engineering teams.
We are looking for a growth-minded, empathetic, and action-oriented Product Manager to join our awesome team!
This is an integral role driving the iterative product development lifecycle of features from conception through launch.
What You Will Do:
Develop a deep understanding of platform users, features, and domain while trying to identify “what problem are we trying to solve?”
Discover, define and validate problems presented by user insights, stakeholder priorities, organizational needs, and technical team members.
Ideate simple, creative solutions for the functionality needed to move business objectives forward while advocating for user-focused improvements and experiences
Build a clear vision and scope documentation. Define minimum viable product; identify trade-offs between feature set and time to market
Document use cases, workflows, wireframes, design requirements, and other materials needed to support product creation and refinement
Translate product requirements into Epics, User Stories, and build a shared understanding with the technical and support teams
Define product goals and metrics
Collaborate with clear communication and a positive, results-oriented approach with internal teams and departments
Provide input and lead improvement of product team organizational procedures and processes.
Coach teams to encourage a growth and innovation mindset. Ensure team is learning and implementing product management best practices.

Are an experienced product manager or business analyst who is comfortable spending time in the problem space
Can handle complexity and adjust your process to the context you’re working in
Find building a must-have feature as gratifying as you do improving a metric, or driving a long term business outcome
Have a natural inclination is to work collaboratively, to be transparent, and seek and give feedback continuously
Are comfortable leading teams, both directly and indirectly to build great experiences
Thrive and adapt quickly in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
Required Skills
Have a technical mentality and a high-level understanding of how applications work – what an API is vs. micro-services vs. UI components
Experience working in Agile, continuous delivery model
Ability to “tell a story” about the problem that needs to be solved
You have a data-driven approach when analyzing business needs or feature definition
Approximately 5-10 years of related experience in a Product Management role
1-2 years as a manager or in some supervisory capacity is ideal
