Vice President, Product Management – IP | Digital Deposits and Remittance SolutionsAbout the Role:This senior executive will play a key role in helping to define the strategic vision of the business and driving transformational revenue growth. This individual will leverage market, client, customer and competitive intelligence to define and execute on a comprehensive business plan/road map for both existing and new products that includes a data driven business case, compelling value proposition and channel approach which best leverages our strengths/unique assets. The business provides innovative, best in class products and RDC capabilities such as commercial and retail mobile capture solutions that allow customers to pay and make deposits where and how they want and provides banks with significantly reduced branch costs and the ability to connect with their customers in a much more meaningful way.Essential Job Responsibilities:As a key member of the senior leadership team, own the revenue for a growing, market leading business that provides payment and deposit processing to over 2,000 US banks.Interface with research companies, associations, existing and prospective banks/customers to identify market needs/opportunities for existing and new product opportunitiesDevelop and keep ongoing a SWOT (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats) analysis for existing and new productsLeveraging the strengths of the business with the market needs and opportunities, develop a comprehensive and compelling data driven business case/plan for new and existing products. Including: market size; pricing, 3-5 year forecasted revenue and expense, product positioning, market requirements and marketing planDetermine which channels best align with target markets’ buying preferencesEstablish a pricing model, schedules, guidelines, procedures and determine the most effective way to deliver a complete solution to an identified market problem. Analyze and provide a data driven business case whether to buy, build or partner to complete the solution for the target marketMonitor and analyze key performance indicators to determine how well the product is performing in the market, how it impacts the company operations and ultimately, how it contributes to profitEnsure that all departments are prepared for new product releases and all items are completed to launch the product externallyWork with Product Management peers, Marketing, Account Executive and Global Sales to create product strategies for modules that align with broader Fiserv goals.Coordinate creation of product roadmaps that align with broader IP/Remit and Fiserv capabilities.Coordinate creation of Go-to-Market plans for each module.Participate in new logo sales and client retention pursuits and client and industry conferences.Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in business or related analytical field, MBA preferred10 years’ experience – financial services experience requiredMinimum 5 years of Product Management / Marketing experienceP&L Management highly desirableExperience with driving RDC (remote & mobile deposit capture) adoption highly desirableExperience with out-sourcing products and services to financial institutions highly desirable. Demonstrated ability to develop a vision and strategy, gain buy in at all levels and execute to deliver business resultsUnderstanding of full life cycle managementAbility to lead and manage with a moderate to high degree of complexity requiring conceptualizationBroad general management mindset and strong business and analytical acumenAbility to work and influence in a complex cross functional environmentExcellent oral and written skillsSelf-starter with the ability to independently prioritize and drive results in an ambiguous/fast paced environmentProficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPointTravel Required: Travel: ~20%Location:Chicago area preferred
