Learn more about Splunk careers and how you can become a part of our journey!Role:Splunk is looking for Product Managers to join a team responsible for the overall end-user experience of our flagship products, Splunk Cloud & Splunk Enterprise. You will help drive the definition, development, and adoption of key features within our Cloud experience, and be responsible for the entire product cycle.You will develop your understanding of the Splunk end-user (encompassing a mix of personas) to define goals and product features, and use your cross-team collaboration skills to drive execution and commercial success.You should be resourceful, scrappy and comfortable with ambiguity, quickly hitting the ground running with limited information. You should be innately curious about the challenges our customers face and passionate about constantly striving to bring value for our customers through our technology and expertise. And most importantly, you should love being part of a team that obsesses about helping everyone: a customer or fellow Splunker.You will have the opportunity to:Partner with engineers and other PMs to prioritize and understand customer and user needs in-depth and translate those needs into a compelling product roadmap.Develop insightful success metrics and tactically implement operational and process improvements across our product feedback portfolioCommunicate our customers' technical requirements crisply and succinctly with design and engineeringWrite functional specifications, and set criteria for release readiness with regards to the functionality of the solution.Collaborate with design, engineering, support, and field teams to improve existing workflows and team processes and successfully deliver products.Own product features through their entire cycle: ideation, specification, development, release, analysis, and iteration.Basic Requirements:A Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or a related technical field, and a strong record of academic achievement.Successfully completed an internship/co-op session at SplunkPreferred Requirements:Self-motivated and strong passion for collaboration and teamworkExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.Strong project execution skills, attention to detail and quality, and a risk-mitigation mentalityStrong written and verbal communication skills, experience with and/or desire to hold a customer facing roleAbility to lead and influence via persuasion, patience, and energy to drive consensus across functions and teamsStrong collaboration with internal and external partnersWilling to do what it takes to get quality products and features to market on timeMinimum 6 months relevant work or internship experienceWhat We Offer You:A constant stream of new things for you to learn.
