As our core product is being used by more and more developers, the demand on our backend big data systems and data warehouse continue to grow. Today we help our partners analyze more than 10 billion events per day across apps, mobile web and desktop web. You would be responsible for providing product ownership for the team that builds and maintains Branchs data pipelines. Branch continues to innovate in the types of user experiences and analytics that it offers to its partners, so your role will include defining future products that do not exist on the market today.

What You’ll Do:
Manage end-to-end incubation and implementation of data products, collaborating closely with both Product and Engineering on requirements and prioritization
Serve as the primary point person for all non-engineering stakeholders (Sales, Product, Marketing)
Define product vision, brainstorm and facilitate implementation of brand new products
Reinvent our existing differentiated products
Iterate on our existing widely-used products
Own and manage backlog of upcoming products, features, and improvements
Define which real-time and batch products we offer, including those we offer internally to our Data Science teams
Measure and report on team SLAs to company management and other stakeholders
Create training materials so others (e.g. data scientists, marketing analytics, engineers on other teams) within Branch can more effectively leverage our Data Platform products
Assist with deprecating legacy products to ensure a smooth end of life
Build technical tools for Data Scientists, Data Eng, and Sales to explore Branchs vast data collections
R&D: explore new use cases for our existing big data sets
We’re Looking for Someone With:
2 years of PM experience working with analytics and/or big data OR - 2 years of cross-functional team experience (Product Manager, Eng Manager working closely with Product), and 2 years past engineering experience with analytics, big data, or a related field
4-year university degree in Computer Science or Statistics, or equivalent technical experience
Ability to communicate with both engineers/data scientists and non-technical audiences
Bias towards embracing new technology and brainstorming use cases for large datasets
