Our mobile organization is growing to meet this challenge – with studios around the planet and a portfolio of blockbuster titles like Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes, The Simpsons: Tapped Out, FIFA, Madden, NBA, Real Racing, SimCity, The Sims, and Plants vs. Zombies.

We are looking for an experienced Product Manager to join our new mobile team in Austin, Texas working on a new MMO strategy game, Star Wars: Rise to Power.

Role

The Product Manager will work closely with Production and Design teams to drive and validate business strategy on an ambitious new product. As the business lead for their assigned projects, the PM is responsible for structuring and executing focused analysis to improve game performance and increase player engagement. In close collaboration with the rest of the Development team, the PM will translate these insights into new content, features, and optimizations.

Key Responsibilities

+ Collaborate to define and support the product roadmap and business strategy based on a deep understanding of game design and engagement/monetization mechanics

+ Own and analyze game metrics (acquisition, retention, engagement, monetization) and proactively identify optimizations for player experience and core financial performance

+ Identify opportunities using a variety of channels including data analytics, competitive research, design hypotheses, player feedback

+ Partner closely with Production and Design teams to conceptualize, specify, and implement engaging features, content, & systems

+ Collaborate extensively with feature planning and optimization: define testing protocol, set up and execute multivariate tests, establish benchmarks internally and externally, measure performance and provide actionable recommendations to Design and Production teams

+ Create, balance and optimize economy and pricing for virtual economies that enable amazing player experiences, player retention, and monetization

+ Leverage live service tools analytics, A/B testing, In-App/Push Notifications and other tools to optimize player experience and drive business objectives

+ Partner with EA and external teams to optimize revenue performance and coordinate product releases and implementation plans to all key stakeholders on an ongoing basis

Qualifications

+ 4+ years of experience in a relevant Product Management or similar role

+ B.S./B.A. degree in a quantitative major

+ Passion for creating innovative, fun, and compelling games

+ Strong business & creative capabilities - you can confidently draw a line from detailed player behavior all the way to market outcomes

+ Strong experience in quantitative analysis, including the ability to model game parameters using Excel, SQL, and business intelligence tools

+ Experience designing and tuning a free to play economy by making structured, hypothesis-driven product improvements

+ Experience with A/B and multivariate testing

+ Proven ability to partner with cross-functional disciplines and influence effectively

+ Comfortable presenting complex concepts

Bonuses

+ MBA or Master’s degree in a related field

+ Experience managing live services

+ Experience with software development methodologies

+ Knowledge of MMO or strategy game genres

+ Experience working on a licensed product
