JOB SUMMARY: Provide extensive knowledge and expertise to our sales departments and customers regarding Medline\u2019s expanding wound biologics product portfolio. This market includes collagen products, xenografts (animal-derived tissue products), bioengineered skin substitutes, and allografts (human-derived tissue products).
CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Create and deliver sales presentations regarding Medline\u2019s wound biologics product portfolio to multiple healthcare facility decision-makers.
Call on hospitals and other healthcare facilities within assigned territory (both independently and in collaboration with other Medline sales representatives) to expand sales of the biologics product lines.
Conduct and manage in-services and educational programs, as well as handle customer product questions and objections.
Establish and nurture clinical, management, and administration relationships.
Participate in overall product strategy, clinical research initiatives and conceptual product development for new and emerging products.
Develop key messaging to effectively communicate product features and benefits.
Conduct market research and identify/monitor market trends that affect sales, service, and product development.
Partake in key sales promotional and educational activities with other Medline sales organizations.
Gather, analyze, and compare competitors\u2019 data and pricing to Medline\u2019s biologics portfolio.
Education Bachelor\u2019s degree.Relevant Work ExperienceAt least 3 years of medical sales experience.\u2003Additional
Willing to travel up to 80% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state).
Planning and implementation experience (including the ability to integrate and coordinate various elements into an actionable plan).
Experience using time management skills such as prioritizing/organizing and tracking details and meeting deadlines of multiple projects with varying completion dates.
Experience developing ways of accomplishing goals with little or no supervision.
Experience presenting to and communicating with various audiences (ex. others with differing language, senior management and non-technical audiences).
Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Excel (for example: using SUM function, setting borders, setting column width, inserting charts, using text wrap, sorting, setting headers and footers and/or print scaling).
Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Word (for example: inserting headers, page breaks, page numbers and tables and/or adjusting table columns).
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Relevant Work Experience
Biologics sales experience.
Clinical sales and marketing/product management experience.
Experience in working with VA facilities and/or hospital outpatient wound centers.
