The Project Manager leads and manages key projects for the Adhesives Electronics business with a primary focus on adhesive applications for consumer electronics; this includes full execution of assigned projects, managing stakeholder expectations on project scope, deliverables, timelines and resource management. This role is critical to delivering new products to our strategic markets. Location is NA Headquarters in Rocky Hill, CT (Greater Hartford Area).
What we offer
Provide leadership and management for product development projects, directing teams and managing stakeholder expectations.
Responsible for project execution including planning, resourcing, and delivery to schedule.
Facilitate and manage the definition and delivery of vision and goals of the project.
Promote and develop excellent project management throughout the organization.
Balance best practice with reason and technical understanding for optimal execution.
Provide regular status reports to the Technology and Business Leadership Teams.
Manage multiple projects concurrently, driving risk mitigation and recovery plans ','!*!Who we are looking for
Bachelor’s Degree Required, PMP preferred.
Prefer candidates with project management experience chemical, materials, electronics or semiconductor industries.
7 years of total professional experience with 4 years in a project management capacity bringing new products to market.
Ability to speak Mandarin a plus.
Demonstrated combination of project management skills and industry expertise.
Positive attitude, driven, persistent, and results-oriented with the ability to influence without direct authority
Excellent conflict resolution, negotiation, and problem solving skills
Ability to interact and communicate with all levels in a global organization
Demonstrated ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project skills
