KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Associate Product Manager to join our Tax Technology Practice organization.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with clients, project stakeholders and team members in all phases of projects to deliver high value and simplify product adoption
Assist with tax interpretations and technical tax advice to project teams; Identify and manage project risk factors and track and report project progress
Assist with creating test plans and scenarios to help ensure an accurate, effective product and validate output/solutions, identifying and documenting system deficiencies and recommending new methodology
Improve processes by developing or implementing best practices
Train and onboard clients and internal tax engagement teams onto new platforms and technologies
Respond to and troubleshoot various tax engagement inquiries and issues
Qualifications:
Minimum two years of regulated investment companies, pass-through or partnership or corporate tax experience in an accounting firm, corporation and/or law firm
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university
Product management experience; preferably within a professional services firm or similar environment
Possess aptitude for technology and technology skills, as well an understanding of the software development life cycle
Propensity for problem-solving and performing root-cause analyses
Knowledge of Alteryx, Win automation or other similar automation tools as well as Visual Basic programming is a plus
