The program is intended to develop business leaders of tomorrow. Interns will also gain exposure to senior leaders and participate in learning and development opportunities. The Product Management team supports high-impact projects across the Global Brands organization and drives innovation and consistency within the organization to improve operational performance, growth, and competitive positioning.
What will I be doing?
The Product Management intern will support the team by assisting with ongoing business needs and initiatives, and leading a designated summer project. The Product Management intern will also assist with product launches including tracking, analysis and communications, along with new product beta testing and coordination with test hotels in the field.
Sample key priorities include:
Review internal and external consumer research and trends for areas of opportunity
Explore customer and owner needs and identify unmet (or emerging) needs across the hospitality category
Assist in new product development and testing across all guest touch points
Research and identify ongoing business opportunities and trends to drive the strategy of the Global Brands organization','!*!What are we looking for?
We look for the demonstration of the following key attributes:
Applicants must be currently enrolled as a full-time college student with a Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business, or related degree. Individuals can be a rising sophomore, junior or senior.
Applicants must possess a cumulative 3.0 GPA or higher.
Ability to be on-site and work at assigned location.
Ability to work independently and in a group environment with excellent communication skills, strong interpersonal and team working skills.
Proficient in web design HTML and InDesign software.
Hotel, retail, or marketing experience is preferred but not required.
Expert in Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.
Applicants must have the ability to fluently speak, read, and write in English.
Applicants must be able to work in the U.S. without employment sponsorship.
