About the role Develop and execute the strategic business and tactical plans for the Microsphere franchise. Provide strategic recommendations for new business opportunities and initiatives to advance the growth and profitability of the Microsphere franchise and the overall Interventional Oncology business. Your responsibilities will include: Support the creation and drive the fulfillment of the franchise commercialization plan while partnering with global, cross-functional team members. Serve as a clinical expert and functional advisor to external and internal customers. Develop strong relationships with multiple US and Global KOLs to help validate commercialization plans and new business opportunities. Develop comprehensive plans to identify and evaluate new business opportunities, to include sizing market opportunities, assessing customer needs and competitive landscape, understanding technology, project execution, and commercial implications, and creating robust business case proposals. Provide timely financial analysis and direction to the sales management team highlighting customer level opportunities and risks in our top accounts. Drive and execute required research and assessments leading to informed business case proposals. Research could be qualitative or quantitative, executed by internal or external resources, could involve hands-on evaluations in R&D or pre-clinical settings, and could require engagement with various global customer groups. Gain alignment with global Franchise stakeholders on new business opportunities.\u00a0 Partner with global, cross-functional team members to support execution of franchise commercialization plans and approved projects while insuring key requirements are achieved. Take leadership role on Interventional Oncology initiatives, execute with speed and quality. Track performance against objectives and plans, formulating new approaches and strategies as needed, including contingency plans for critical tactical plans. Identify best practices to address key business challenges and opportunities. Use classic marketing capabilities: market understanding, market segmentation, product positioning, message development, channel identification, tool and communication creation and execution to further business objectives. What we\u2019re looking for in you \u00a0 5 years of medical device experience required BA\/BS required, Master\u2019s\/MBA preferred Upstream\/downstream marketing, new product development experience preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Demonstrated success supporting and\/or managing complex projects Ability to collaborate and work with others in a dynamic, matrix environment Demonstrated success working as an integral cross functional team member, and ability to develop\u00a0deep clinical expertise in medical device product line Position requires ~33% travel (international included)
