DIV> As a Risk Management for Banking Product Management Manager at SAS you will have business and domain expertise in calculating and managing risk in the balance sheet caused by interest rate movements (ALM risk), including net interest income estimation, earnings and duration based limits, scenario building, and spread development. Moreover, you will deliver market driven offerings by defining product requirements; support and define the company's vision for this space and play a key role in executing to that vision; collaborate with development team to drive product development using the SAS Software Development Lifecycle; Communicates product content and knowledge to internal constituents; and support the external presence of SAS and our offerings. Additional responsibilities will include:
Defines product requirements based on customer, prospect and evaluator inputs, market direction and field contribution; generates Market Requirements Document (MRD) Drives product development in R&D based on requirements management and product lifecycle Develops and executes a Product Vision and Roadmap Defines user personas and use cases Identifies/recommends actions for emerging technology/business issues that present opportunities to SAS Seeks new market opportunities within the company's distinctive competence Creates Executive Briefing documents to drive decision-making process Ensures knowledge transfer of product functionality to Marketing & Sales Creates Statement of Position, FAQ, and/or talking points Contributes business and domain expertise for pricing, positioning and collateral Provides software demonstrations to internal constituents, customers, press, analysts, at events, etc. Serves as a product expert and with external audiences, such as press, thought leaders, analysts, speaking engagements at trade shows and user groups, etc. Participates and provides domain expertise in customer briefings at a strategic level Performs other job duties as assigned. Bachelors Degree in Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or related discipline; with 5 years of experience in a risk management function in a major financial institution or similar experience gained through working for a software vendor or a consulting organization
Essential Equivalent
Associate's degree in the same fields with an additional 2 years of stated essential qualifications - or - High school diploma (GED) with an additional 4 years of stated essential qualifications

Good hands-on working knowledge of SAS software Strong knowledge of various types of risk and experience in both quantifying risk as well as enabling organizational processes to calculate and manage ALM risk Ability to think strategically and articulate/translate product features and customer values Strong understanding of risk to translate customer requirements into product capabilities Ability to articulate customer and business needs into product marketing plans Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills Excellent organizational, communication and negotiation skills Ability to travel as business needs dictates
